O&O BlueCon starts all programs directly from a bootable medium and thus avoids data being lost when new data is written to the PC, which can happen for example during a new installation. The seamless integration of all components into one package means O&O BlueCon saves the user the tedious process of compiling various programs. By supporting Hyper-V, O&O BlueCon 8 can also be used in virtual environments.

O&O BlueCon is available in two editions: Admin and Tech Editions. These two versions differ in their functionality and their license to use the software.
